For actors and actresses of 1980’s, it was nostalgia time on Sunday (August 29) night.
Lissy Priyadarshan and Suhasini Mani Ratnam held the second edition of
an exclusive get-together of heroes and heroines of 1980’s who had
worked together. Remember that in August 2009, they had a similar party
organised, which was a huge success.
The guest list was pruned down to only heroes and heroines who had
acted together during the 80’s and they all came without their spouses
except Sarathkumar and Radhika.
The party was held at Lissy’s bungalow in Chennai. Lissy told sify.com:
“The stars of 80’s had terrific bonding.We paid homage to Vishnuvardhan
who passed away last year after he attended our first reunion party.
This year we had new entrants like Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Venkatesh,
Arjun, Sarathkumar, Shankar, Kushboo and Ramya Krishnan. ”
Lissy had made all preparations and planning for the big bash almost
one month in advance and the theme of the party was black and green and
most of the people followed the dress code.
The 27 stars from four southern languages who were there at the party
included Rajinikanth, Mohan, Karthik, Ambarish, Bhanuchandar, Naresh,
Prabhu, Suresh, Suman, Pratap Pothen, Mukesh along with heroines
Suhasini, Lissy, Shobhana, Radhika, Poornima, Sumalatha, Radha, Ambika
and Nadiya. |
